We like our room with the view of mountains and nakajima park. I specially requested this room and they granted it, it made a huge difference, made our stay much more enjoyable and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was great! We like every dish they serve especially the croissant, cheesecake, and the pork steak. The staff are very warm and respectful but the problem was most of the staff have difficulty in communicating in English. We don’t speak Japanese so we don’t understand each other, we need to use a translator for them to understand us. Also, at the time of our visit they don’t offer anything or any activity for New Year’s Eve, their restaurants close early and the place is so quiet. We were hoping we could watch the New Year’s Eve countdown even on the television but nothing so we just slept. This is the first time we do not celebrate the countdown.

Nice and big room with park/ mountain view was great. Water kettle and fridge in the room were nice to store some stuff and make some tea/coffee. The staff was so friendly, I enjoyed that. Rooms were soundproof, which I also liked a lot having experienced very different in Japan. About 20 minutes walking distance to the center, next to the subway and around the corner of some nice restaurants and coffee shops (smooch coffee, recommend!). The hotel has taxi's waiting in front so it's easy to grab a taxi somewhere too. Overall very nice experience for great value. The park in front of the hotel is also very nice! Hotel also offers extra service such as massage or laundry. We did not use it during our stay, but the service there is easy.

The location of Sapporo Park Hotel is excellent. It's just a couple minute walk to the nearest station exit and just several stations down from the city centre. The room was nice and I had a lovely view of Nakajima Koen (with the park-side view room). The park is really beautiful during the autumn. I originally booked a smoking room by accident but the hotel staff were kind enough to change this to non-smoking upon checking in. As a digital nomad, I found that working out of the room was fine (I remember the wifi could be spotty at times). I could also always walk to a nearby cafe or take the train two stops to a cafe in downtown. The hotel staff at the front desk all spoke English and were nice folks.

I believe I booked like the cheapest economy room there, but we were treated like any other guests who booked better rooms. I cant believe there were staff who helped us carry our luggages, then escorting us from the reception into our room. Room is clean and smell free despite it was a smoking room, and they rewarded us with a free can of local beer/drink of our choice everyday if we skip housekeeping. There is a very nice park to stroll just beside the hotel, and the train station is like 100m away from the hotel, which is very convenient.

FOR ME, I AM LUCKY TO HAVE THIS HOTEL every time i am at Sapporo. It offers a sufficient quad room for my family. they can clean your room everyday or swap it with free tokens (like drinks) food is good, and since i go here on winter season, the Sapporo park is just beside. train station is also in front, bus to airport is just across and 24/7 food mart (like lawson & family) are nearby. tho it is not at the city center, train is just across and few minutes away
